I am a new teacher. How does Noortutor work?

NoorTutor is suitable for anyone with the motivation to improve, upskill or reskill. All you need is a computer/laptop/tablet with a mic and camera and a high-speed internet connection.

Click the "Find a Teacher” button where you can find the list of all the listed teachers on the platform. In addition to searching by teacher location and price, you can also search by subject and language to ensure you find a teacher that fits your requirements.

Any learner who needs guidance in any of their academic subjects like Geography, Islam, Biology, Maths, Physics, and many more can register on the platform and seek assistance. NoorTutor also has language teachers for the students who are willing to learn different languages like Arabic, Portuguese, Mandarin, Russian, Italian, and many more.

There are no specific requirements for the teachers or students to register on the platform. Teachers and students from any country, origin, culture can join the platform and start learning and teaching.

NoorTutor is open for all learners who want to learn and need guidance in their academics and language learning.

Teacher registration is a quite simple and short process on this platform. Teachers need to sign up with their email addresses. A verification email with a link will be sent to the email address. Teachers are required to verify the email addresses by clicking on the link. After the verification, teachers can fill their application form which is then sent to the admin for approval. Once the admin approves the application form, the teacher can then create his/her profile and is ready to take classes.

Yes, teachers can add their languages to their profiles to make their profiles more informative for the students. To add a language: Sign in to the account. Go to "Settings" and click on the "Languages" tab. From there, teachers can select the languages and the fluency level from the drop-down menu and save them to reflect on their profile. Lastly, click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Setting the country and time zone for teachers helps them to coordinate better with the students located in different geographic locations. To set country and time zone: Sign in to the account. Go to "Account Settings" and click on the "General" tab. From there, teachers can select their country and time zone. Lastly, click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page to save your selected option.

Teachers receive the payment of the sessions as soon as they deliver the sessions and mark the sessions as completed. To mark the session competed: After ending the session, click "Charge Learner". The payment of the session will be made by the admin.

To withdraw the payment from their escrow wallet: Sign in to your account. Click "Wallet". My Wallet page will open which will show the current amount in the wallet. Click "Request Withdrawal" which will open a dialog box. Upon filling all the required fields, click "send request". The request will be sent to the admin who releases the payment thereafter.
