This course is a beginner-friendly introduction to programming, designed to make coding fun and accessible for young learners. The course covers essential programming concepts, helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive and hands-on activities.
Students will begin by learning what Python is and how to use it to give simple instructions to the computer. They will explore key concepts such as variables (storing and using data), lists (collections of data), and strings (text manipulation). They’ll also dive into essential math operations like addition and multiplication, and understand how to make decisions in their code using conditions and loops to repeat tasks.
As students advance, they will learn to create their own functions, building simple reusable pieces of code. By the end of the course, they will be able to combine these concepts into small, fun Python projects.
